Finn was the lucky winner of the world cup sweepstakes having picked Italy and finished with 22 points.

The U11 team retained the trophy for the tournament at Thornton Watless for the 3rd year in a row. Winning the one day tournament in June against 16 other teams from various primary schools in the area. Big well done to Steve, Shawn, Ben, Jack, Jack, Emily and Andrew. We get to keep the cup - fantastically well done team.

Introduction

Coach/Organizers: Dominic Gregson and Lawrence Alderson
Assistant Coach: Bernard Spence, Richard Sunter and Tristan Pruden
Referees: Diff, Gadge and Robert

Home Ground: Askrigg Primary School Askrigg

The season runs from September to June/July. The squad practice times are on Friday evening at 6 p.m. Friday.

The practices and teams were originally set up at the suggestion of the Askrigg and Bainbridge primary schools. Children eligible to participate are boys and girls from 7 to 14 years before 1st September 2006. Sorry, we can't take anyone under 7 years old.

Football boots and shin pads are required for the games and practice sessions on grass. It would also be helpful if players bring their own football to the practice to assist in the coaching sessions. Please write your name and/or phone number on your football.

Players of all ability levels are welcome, boys and girls.
