24 April 2005: Two Dales away for all 3 teams in Reeth. The U12 completed the task and made it 9 wins and 1 draw to take the league title. 2-1 winners on the day, another excellent display. The U10 team won 2-1, great opener from Jack Stephenson, a good block from Shawn Kell in goals unfortunately bounced back into the net after hitting a Two Dales forward. In the 2nd half with Shawn playing up front, he scored the winner to make it 2-1. The U15 team set off well and went 2-0 up, however, after a couple of telling injuries they let it slip in the 2nd half and lost it 3-2.
17 April 2005: A very close game against Bellerby ended at 1-1 for the U12 team, we lost our 100% record, not our best of displays, but have to give the visitors credit they played well. The U10 team also ended 1-1, a cracking strike from Shawn Kell in the first half was cancelled out in the last second of the game by Bellerby.
13 March 2005: Another great result for the U12 team, a 6-0 victory over Hawes B makes it 8 out of 8 for the team. Just two games left to complete the perfect 10. The U10 team battled hard, but lost 5-1 to a good Hawes side. Excellent work by Ross Thwaites in goal and another strong performance by Steve Moffit in defence and Aimee Fawcett in midfield.
6th February 2005: Brilliant results in the home game against Bishopdale. A very tough fixture for both the U12 and U10 teams. The U12 came out worthy winners with a hard fought 2-0 result, making it played 7 won 7 and cementing their position at the top of the league. Hayden Shutt got player of the match for his outstanding performance in goal. Three more games lads, with 100% commitment, I know we can make it 10 out of 10. The U10 lost 7-0 in this fixture away at Bishopdale back in November, the home game was a complete turn around with a fantastic team performance resulting in a 5-1 victory. Aimee Fawcett dominated in midfield and scored the first two goals, brother Ben got the third and Shawn Kell netted the last two.
The teams represented in the league this season, are Askrigg, Bishopdale, Bellerby, Carperby, Two Dales, Spennithorne and Hawes.
